Set-Sail Program
Set-Sail Program is an early-stage incubation program for teams in the ideation phase of entrepreneurship, offering entrepreneurial exchange, learning and resource matching to better assist early-stage entrepreneurs in quickly launching their projects, gaining first-hand entrepreneurial support and resources, and familiarizing themselves with the startup environment and policies of the Greater Bay Area.
Requirements
01
HKUST entrepreneurs who are interested in or currently engaged in entrepreneurship;

Startups (established within the past 3 years) where HKUST professors, researchers and alumni hold at least 10% equity, or entrepreneurial teams planning to establish a company in Shenzhen within the next 6 months;

Members of teams that have participated in past HKUST One Million Dollar Entrepreneurship Competitions;

Members of teams recommended by Blue Bay partner organizations (need written recommendation letter);

Key focus areas: Big data/AI, Robotics/Smart Manufacturing, Microelectronics, New Energy/New Materials, Biomedical/Healthcare and Fintech.
